Two Stories
When I reluctantly gave up my subscription to the
New Yorker, my friends offered to save their copies for me. And Carole said she would send me articles she thought I'd like to read. Today, I received two pieces she thought would interest me . . . and you. I absolutely agree. I remember the Shirley Jackson short story was discussed several months ago when a book about her life came out. The other story is about another remarkable person lost to the virus. I am emailing them.
Carole also sent a poem by Charlie Chaplin.
So thanks Carole for being my guest editor today. What a wonderful contribution!
